About the event

Visit the farm to learn the essentials of cold process soap making in an EXPRESS class. All oils and lye water will be prepared in advance.

You will create a 3-pound loaf of soap (approximately 10 bars, depending on how you cut them). The recipe is Vegan and Palm-Oil Free. All safety materials and class handouts will be provided for you to take home. The class typically lasts 2-2.5 hours.

The class will begin with a discussion on soapmaking with examples of designs you can try, followed by time to choose your colors and scents, and then you will create your very own custom loaf of soap.

This class is available to those aged 16 and over, as it involves handling caustic materials.

* A minimum of 4 participants is required per class. If not enough people register, I will refund the tickets to those who paid!
