Basic Soap Making Class - February 12, 2022 at 1 pm (1)

Come out to the farm and learn the basics of making cold process soap. This will be an EXPRESS soap making class. I will have all the oils and lye water prepped for you.  Just come, pick your colors and scents, and mix them up!  

This class is only open to ages 16 and above as you will be working with caustic materials.  

You will get to make 3 lb of soap (roughly 9 bars depending how you cut them). Recipe is Vegan and Palm-Oil Free.  All safety material will be provided as well as class handouts for you to take home.  The class usually takes about 2-2.5 hours.  

I will start the class with a quick talk about soapmaking and give some examples of designs you can try.  Then spend time picking out your colors and scents.  Both fragrance oils and essential oils will be available, but if you have your own essential oils you are welcome to bring them.  

* Minimum of 3 guests per class - if enough dont register than I will refund the tickets to those who paid!

At this time masks are not required - we are a vaccinated household. You are welcome to wear one if you would like.
